Introduction to Fusing

This is a class for all of you who want to learn the fun and pleasure of working with warm glass. You will cut and layer pieces of glass to make a fun and lovely tile or pendant or earrings or pieces of your choice! If you don't know how to cut glass don't worry, arrange with us to come in before the class and we will teach you the basics and have you cutting your first project before you know it!!!

Beginning Glass Beadmaking

In this class Kathy will teach you how to make beautiful glass beads. You will come away with a handful of beads that you have made yourself in this hands on class! Learn the basic techniques of safety, glass selection and then melting the glass to make your beads! A wonderful class to learn the basics of beadmaking!!!

Beginning Stained Glass

Classe times are scheduled Wednesdays through Saturday and are limited to 3 people per day. Start any time and enjoy the projects you will learn to make.

Reactive Fused Glass

Take this class to learn basics of working with reactive glass. You'll get an introduction to the chemistry involved in getting these wonderful and somewhat unpredictable results!

Fused Glass Jewelry

Learn some basic methods for making fused glass jewelry in this introductory class. You'll make pendants, earrings and bracelets. Dichroic glass will be available to give your jewelry some extra sparkle! And you will get a lesson in wire wrapping glass too!

Glass Expressions Class & Membership Program
We offer Stained Glass Classes which are ongoing. Students can start at any time during the year. The Beginning Class for first timers is an 8 week course. After this class students can join the membership program and continue to attend the class and practice and learn more advanced techniques The benefits of the membership include attendance of the regular Stained Glass sessions, receive a 10% discount on tools and supplies and Free attendance of the Second Tuesday Fusing Club. This is an excellent way to get help with your projects, have a place to work and have the cameraderie of other students and members working at all levels.

We are members of Friends In Glass!
Friends In Glass is a not-for-profit group to support those interested in glass as an art form either as artists or collectors. We focus on our local Pacific NW area but will include a few items for those who go traveling.
