Sitka Living is open Wed - Mon Noon-5pm
They can sell our supplies, but no glass cutting.

Shopping at other times is available by appointment.

Please do not come in if you are sick or have been contact with anyone displaying symptoms.

Stained Glass Classes

The March and May classes are now full. 
Signups are open for July Classes!  

We have had an amazing number of people interested in taking classes.  We have emailed and called many names on the wait list, but very few have responded.  If you have been waiting for notification be sure to check your email spam folders. But it would be a good idea to call again if you are interested in one of these classes.

Introduction to Fusing

This is a class for all of you who want to learn the basics of working with warm glass.  You will learn about which glass, kilns and techniques can be used for successful glass fusing.  You will dive into our scrap stash and create some fun and lovely tiles!

This is an open workshop where you can get help and inspiration with your fusing projects.  Project samples will be available.  Firing for one project included.  Purchase of supples and additional firings required.

Beginning Glass Beadmaking

In this class Kathy will teach you how to make beautiful glass beads.   You will come away with a handful of beads that you have made yourself in this hands on class!  Learn the basic techniques of safety, glass selection and then melting the glass to make your beads!  A wonderful class to learn the basics of beadmaking!!!

Reactive Fused Glass

Take this 3 hour class to learn basics of working with reactive properties of glass.  You'll get an introduction to the chemistry involved in getting these wonderful and somewhat unpredictable results!

Fused Glass Jewelry

Learn some basic methods for making fused glass jewelry in this introductory class. You'll make pendants, earrings and bracelets.  Dichroic glass will be available to give your jewelry some extra sparkle!  And you will get a lesson in wire wrapping glass too!

We are members of Friends In Glass!

Friends In Glass is a not-for-profit group to support those interested in glass as an art form either as artists or collectors. We focus on our local Pacific NW area but will include a few items for those who go traveling.
